The larger the squad the higher the clubs running costs. Maybe it's time for us to raise prices to fund our squad. It's hardly ridiculous considering we charge £15 for a match day ticket.

It's a fairly binary choice of what is and is not acceptable to an individual in terms of cost. If you don't like the price, you don't attend.
