Re: Dion Charles

If I’m not mistaken, we ideally need a cash move in January to make a percentage of any sell-on back. John Coleman doesn’t seem too happy with the situation from what I’ve read. This after playing part of the game with 10 men and being beaten in extra time? Do they think that fellow clubs in this league are stupid or what? It was Chorley FC the other mon...

Steve Burr played decent footy too...Weeks and Lussey came in and were excellent. Magnus Norman an excellent loan signing too.

Re: News of Former Players - it's back!

Saw my mate play for Carmarthen against TNS yesterday. Ryan Astles played. Considering I really liked him at Southport, I’m quite glad he’s not with us anymore 😂

He has to be managed carefully.
Took me the best part of two years to get over shin splints when I was 17-19

Re: Club Statement on player abuse

I know there's a tradition of abusing opposition players in football (although I would hope that insults based on racism, sexism, homophobia etc were dying out by now, for god's sake), but who are these idiots who think abusing their own players is going to help anything? Bloody cavemen... although...

Re: Assistant manager

Maybe there is some money in the coffers! Remember Jon McCarthy was an appointee from the Hodgkinson era, so presumably on a decent deal initially at least Freeing up those wages will have created a little headroom expenditure wise Are you saying there’s enough to bring in that experienced player o...

Re: Assistant manager

Maybe there is some money in the coffers! Seems to me like a really good appointment...decent league experience (did OK at Blackpool) and lots of experience playing, scouting and coaching in the NW. Also seems to have a good list of contacts and as someone mentioned above, specialises in set pieces....
