Re: Update from Ian Kyle

Its great to hear from Ian, and thanks to Rob and Ian for doing these.

Ian really does have the finger on the pulse, which I don't think we've had before and I love how he doesn't want these questions beforehand to enable him to answer honestly.

That idea is far too sensible.
Does 3g = success?

Plenty of stadiums have had pitch issues. Wembley was awful when it opened. Maybe they should have installed 3g too?

Yeah - saw the writing on the wall and out.The next lucky recipient needs only around 34 stipulations to become answerable to ……… Mr Watson ....... you just gotta laugh. The JD was long, definitely, but it's near enough exactly everything Ken Hilton did when he was secretary for a long time. When y...

Re: News of Former Players - it's back!

Dropped out of the football league with his payout to Barrow then Kiddy, who then got promoted so had to find a new club and we were the highest payers (them were the days!) Wonder if he ever returned the Red Bull fridge he "borrowed" from the Physio room when he was Assistant Manager to P...

Sounds exactly like the person you want at a football club, just a big fan of non league and experienced to boot.

Here's an old beeb article:

Welcome to the club.

I could be wrong but I believe we’d also owe a portion of the fee we receive to Fleetwood. https://southportfc.net/transfers-southport-sign-dion-charles-fleetwood/ Nothing mentioned there, but not to say we wont. But shrewd move on their part too. Kevin Davies with potentially our most profitable s...

I don't think there's much wrong with a director who's not putting money in. Do we think Liam is? Potty was and probably continues to be one because of what he brings in his skills, be that in his day job, which he has put into practice at Haig Ave to save the club many many thousands of the years. ...

Re: New Director

My long term business plan for the club was to get an ex-premier league player to pay Stockport County to let him manage them. (Ex-players have the money so it makes sense for them to pay to get on the ladder, giving them something to do) I hope Kevin Davies was paying us. But in that second articl...
