Re: Football fans
Plus we’re heading into spring now, when cold and flu viruses naturally fade away, whereas we were in the depths of winter during the post-Christmas spike.

Re: Good news?
Well, the "earliest possible" date they gave for the removal of all restrictions on social contact is 21st June, well before our next season is due to start. That seems incredibly optimistic to me though, and I'll be surprised if there aren't still some limits on attendances in August.

It was retweeted by the official Bolton and Accrington twitter accounts so may have generated a few donations as a result.yellowfever wrote: ↑Sun Feb 21, 2021 6:17 pm Thanks-I wonder if there's been any response?

National League Statement | Non-Fulfilment of Fixtures A statement from The National League: Many things have been written regarding charges recently raised in connection for non-fulfilment of fixtures under League Rules. It may be helpful to explain that this process is merely a mechanism for the L...

Re: All matches off
In theory our ground should be able to accommodate more than our average attendance, even with social distancing measures in place (I can't remember what the figure was in December that we were allowed). I think the main thing that kept attendances down then was the reluctance of people to go due to...

Re: Liam Watson post match
I guess the argument could be made that we played today after paying for tests for the whole squad (thus alleviating a lot of the health concerns) but it's not sustainable to do that for every league match. Really, it should be organised by and paid for by the league.

Re: David Morgan
What would you be satisfied with? They’re hardly going to give us their best players. Not with that attitude. If they do flog Dion for a million quid we should demand 100% instead of the paltry 20% they will probably try and FOB US OFF with. The latest lot are benchers. Coleman could have offered s...

Re: David Morgan
Coleman grabs another for next to nothing, friendship is a beautiful thing. I know you dislike Liam, but one thing is certain he has always done right by the club finances and the players when their chances come. And friendship is also a two-way thing. We have benefitted from numerous loanees from ...

Re: The season now what?
A bit strange that the government are insisting that the portion of the £10m for Step 1 and 2 clubs should be loans rather than grants, given that it's a tiny amount of money compared to that being handed out elsewhere.

Unfortunately the majority of the rain is only just arriving in Halifax so I wouldn't be surprised if it's waterlogged by this evening.

Re: Carry on football!
It's true that these are "unprecedented circumstances" and I'm sure it's impossible to get things spot on, but there is absolutely no doubt that the government has made a mess of things time and time again (sending primary school children back for one day is just the latest example).

Is John Bishop in the FPA? I've tried to speak to him but he is no longer at the address we once had for him and I couldn't get past his management company when I tried that route. They seemed to think any request is a begging request for charity and the concept of anything else seemed a bit alien ...

Re: Social distancing alfreton a joke
Overhyped nonsense That’s a very insensitive and unnecessary response with many people on here who will know people who’ve died of this, myself included (I know several people no longer with us). We all want football to go on, I certainly do, but ultimately some things are more important. Perhaps t...

We won’t go down under Brabin can you honestly say we will survive this season if we continue like this? Blyth already look relegated, which only leaves one relegation place. Do you honestly believe that there isn't a single other team apart from Blyth that are worse than we are?? Based on the last...
