Re: Away coaches.
TIY needs a leader to step forward and take the reins. I thought they had to be elected by members though? That’s something that can follow, once the organisation is lifted from dormancy. It just needs (one or preferably more) committed individuals to get involved. I feel sure that the national org...

Re: The state of play.
Very pessimistic stuff - and some inaccuracies too - eg ‘if Archer is injured we have no forwards’ when we have Watson and Woods (and, maybe,Walton). People are depressed by the pre- season when we all know that such results are meaningless. It’s not fair to criticise the club for injuries and it’s ...

Re: Bolton (H)
How strong was the Bolton team?
First teamers? Squad players? U23s?
PS
Just read their manager’s report- he described them as their second team, ‘B’ team.

Thanks PR9.
Dislocated knee cap - usually 2-3 months out.

Re: New away kit
The away kit in the late 50s and early 60s was black and white stripes. The numbers were red in a big white box on the back. Possibles were usually in the away kit. The pro squad consisted of about 14 players! I don’t remember the 10-0 but I recall a cup game when we beat them 2-1. I was embarrassed...

Staying away won’t change the club’s decision.
Some genuine contrition and a plea for a second chance might have some effect.
