Re: We are staying up!

I couldnt relax on 36. Usually I wait for 50 points before thinking that we are safe, though some seasons there are very weak teams and one can relax sooner.

I wonder what the data would suggest?

Do you really think Liam is going to announce in an interview that... "Tony Mc" is signing for Barcelona?
He is wanted as their time-wasting coach

McMillan probably went for a cup of tea.

Re: Southport v Bradford P.A.

It’s a strong enough starting eleven. Walton gets his debut. Bench is thin: McMillan, Edwards, Corrigan, Benjamin and IBR.

Mason
Oliver
Doyle
Anson
Tharme
Munro
Walton
Bainbridge
Vassallo
Archer
Woods

Re: Southport v Bradford P.A.

I’m not clear who is available and who isn’t and what sort of a team can be assembled.

Newell on loan, Doyle, C, Edwards, Hmami and Watson are injured - anyone else?

Marcus Carver started for Hartlepools who lost to two late goals at Bristol Rovers.

Hopefully it won’t have adversely affected the team’s spirit and winning mentality too much.

Re: Marcus Carver

Jordan Darr the striker for Charnock Richard who played against us las night seems to have a really impressive goal scoring record having scored 51 goals in 62 appearances for the club and 30 goals in 32 appearances this season so far. Just wondering why his name does not appear as a possible repla...

Totally correct.
The team has certainly performed since he arrived, but do we know for sure that it is his input that has made the difference?

Re: Marcus Carver

I would say that the Leeds game was played just before the golden period, but it was certainly a good team and we faced Jack Charlton and the rest. 3-0 if I recall correctly. We went on a special train from Chapel Street! One of our key players was injured (was it Alan Spence?) and we had a stand in...

Yes, I've been supporting the club for over 60 years.

Its normal if you care about something to look out for anything that might adversely affect it.

It’s unfortunate that some Portchatters see something negative in that.

If it's true good luck to the lad , he's worked really hard this season but he would have to be replaced by someone, George isn't ready and if jordon takes a knock then we going to struggle that would send out the wrong message to the fans who starting to creep back to haig ave .
