That’s a better record than any of the playoff sides can claim, as well as any other side that hasn’t played Fylde yet.

We must bring in a couple of experienced loan players immediately if we have no cash to bring in permanent signings. Liam is supposed to know the local non-League like the back of his hand, so bring a couple of players in. Where are our supposed friends, Liam, John Cole and the like? If any clubs a...

Re: Southport 3 - 3 Gateshead - Match Thread

You may be realistic in setting sights low, but it isn’t long ago that we were playing, albeit struggling, in the league above. Now we just have to accept that we can’t expect to beat any of the first half dozen teams the fixtures throw at us in a division in which we would previously have expected...

Re: Southport 3 - 3 Gateshead - Match Thread

Did anybody realistically expect us to have more points by this stage? You'd have been very optimistic to have predicted a win at this stage. It was obvious from the day the fixtures were released that we'll have a very challenging start but it's encouraging that we've competed so far given the oppo...

Re: News of Former Players - it's back!

Thanks for the reply. If it is 25% or anywhere near it should make quite a difference to our promotion chances. If we can add a good cup run it should enable us to compete with the teams with much larger budgets. Only then will the Watson out brigade have fair reason to call for his departure. Othe...
