Re: Possible transfer targets for next season etc...

Two players that add experience and have been released in the EFL which stand out is Shaun Whalley that experienced winger and has the obvious connection to Southport, and the other is Jay Spearing released by Tranmere as he taken on a coaching role at Liverpool Academy so could be looking for part ...

Having some that do and don't looks scruffy. Personally I am all for names on shirts. Maybe next season!

Next Season - ins and outs

As the season nears the end, who realistically can you see Liam bringing in over the summer? IMO experienced midfielder and a striker with pedigree would be good additions to this squad. Signed for the upcoming season: Adam Anson (May 2024) Cameron Mason (May 2024) Charlie Munro (May 2024) Charlie O...

Can’t see him staying next season. If possible can the club update us on players i.e. loan extensions etc. on the website rather than on here!

Re: Five Contract Extensions

We have 7 players for 2023/24 now, Hmami & Munro join the May 2024 club. I make it 9 for 23/24: Cameron Mason (May 2024) Jack Bainbridge (May 2024) Adam Anson (May 2024) Charlie Oliver (May 2023) Jack Doyle (May 2024) Dylan Vassallo (May 2024) Niall Watson (May 2024) Connor Woods (May 2024) Cha...

Re: Tyler Walton

An interesting signing, sure Liam will have his reason but it is a no brainier to add some depth, in a young player who is experienced at this level, so all positive.

The announcement on Twitter could of picked a better picture, was a bit harsh on Oliver 😂.

Re: Marcus Carver

I’m sure a player will be signed wisely. Finding it interesting to read that some feel the board of directors do not reinvest into the squad, Jordan Archer was signed for an undisclosed fee in late 2020, during a time of no crowds… I trust Liam will have someone in mind, and that someone will be the...

Whether Liam will look for a target man is another question. There aren't too many out there that would fit Liam's mantra of being young and improving.

:!: Sad. Two or three years ago he could have had a few Premier League games when Sheffield United got promoted if he hadn’t pushed for a big pay increase. It’s been downhill ever since. Mark Duffy tells a different story. Though at his age his career trajectory is hardly unusual. http://www.viewfro...

Well worth a listen, seems like a top lad who is enjoying his football at the moment. Also worth checking out the other episodes with Southport players. All very good and positive.
