Re: Come follow southport...a club where fans views matter

If the powers that be stick with their threat of banning the clubs from all competitions and ban players from international football, who would want to join these sides, one would guess only older players who's careers are coming to an end and who's only interest is to raise as much funds for their ...

Re: League news

Ref Yellow fever. It is indeed very worrying times for everyone that cares about football at lower levels. All we can hope for is that the horrific situation will not happen again and if it does, that the "powers that be" do the right thing, which they patently did not this season. Hopeful...

Re: League news

Any future for the long serving Vice Chairman, Jack Pearce, who also doubles as the manager of Bognor Regis Town. :? Jack is on the FA Board and has been on the FA Council for 20 years. 20 years experience dosen't mean you are good at what you do, in some cases it merely highlights what is wrong !.

He should have been sacked ages ago rather than been allowed to resign. Still as they say in footballing speak, a win is a win. All we have to worry about is where will he end up next, probably overseeing HS2,

Re: £2,000 Fine. . Is it fair?

While I do share a little sympathy for Dover, it's worth mentioning that their chairman James Parmenter was a director of the National League from 2015, resigning in February this year due to disagreements with the board. He was a National League board member when grants mysteriously turned into lo...

If you’ve got any ideas, try applying for this https://www.civilservicejobs.service.gov.uk/csr/jobs.cgi?jcode=1713797 🤣🤣 James Telford would have aced this Leadership Role. What an insult to James, he is nowhere near stupid, outdated, inept, corrupt, or bloody minded enough for such a position !......

Re: £2,000 Fine. . Is it fair?

I don't think they'd keep twice about keeping it! There are still some in the world who have principals, and thus far Dover have stuck by theirs, so assuming they would keep it is a tad unfair, if the story unfolds that way by all means give them a darn good slating but until then a least give them...

I fear the "powers that be" will give them a darn good kicking for refusing to bow down and lick their ostriches ( :  ), but the very best of luck to them.

Chicken and egg syndrome. Anyone got a goose that lays weird looking eggs ?.
Yes, it's an entertainment business but there is an x factor that makes it more than that and that extra thing that makes us go and watch "our" team.
