Re: New Signing
Ticks all the boxes. Think we just need another winger, striker and perhaps a centre mid and we’re all set. A little bit optimistic but I agree totally, £££££ could be a stumbling block though. Would you settle for a Whalley, Morgan & Charles :?: Haha I'd happily settle for any league one quali...

Re: News of Former Players - it's back!
Close call but I would go for LE. Yes MC was great for us but I think we were lucky to have him during a very hot streak.
Both would be nice though.

Re: News of Former Players - it's back!
Liam Watson obviously (to me) has decided against pursueing his services permantly-which surely tells supporters everything? Correct. I have to ask what does it tell us ?. Is it that LW isn't going to gamble on a player who may not be fit enough to last the season (ie, a financial gamble for the cl...

Re: RIP Billy Bingham
How about the club renames the stand (which was built during his tenure) after him? Yes, I know they will be seeking sponsors for it but the Jack Carr stand is sponsored and surely the club's finest manager should be as prominent as a former president (all due respect to Jack)? I have also made a r...

Manager with the most Conference North titles ever, only idiots would believe in him… Put me down as an idiot :D .. I predict I will be supping lots of port and eating a lot truckles of cheese once the season starts. Ps. There could be a viable business selling food to some of the port fans next se...

Re: signing or lack off
Stay positive, things look a lot better than they have for years. The club is stable, I agree, and that is something to be very thankful for. However, I don't understand the rationale for optimism about things on the field. The squad will be basically the same and it ended last season on a long run...

Re: signing or lack off
Don't panic. All is in hand. Well said. The reason there hasn't been the usual influx of new players is that unlike many seasons past, this year we have already got the basic squad signed up, so a little patience will be needed. Pre season will bring a few new faces, hoping to impress and hopefully...

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2022/23
Just bought my season ticket, I doubt I will attend half the games but still bought one, I could have spent the money on half a dozen premier league games but would prefer to give £285 my local team, I frame it as a charitable donation to a worthy cause. Good sentiment and well said. Isn,'t there a...

Re: Playoffs
In Nat South, Dorking - a club which less than ten years ago was in the Sussex County League - are the latest to overtake us. They seat 500. Do they have a Sugar Daddy and a full time squad, or have they done it on peanuts? I sincerely hope the Gloucester couple that won £175 millon on the Lottery ...
