Re: Club statement (Leamington)

As it seems as if this knob is going to get off scot-free, maybe we could offer a reward to season ticket holders, or fans who are otherwise able to prove long-time support to catch/ identify any future perpetrators? That way (hopefully) we could verify that the person who catches them is a true fa...

Flowing vintage Port on the pitch and vintage port flowing........
Hard fought 3-0 win. Crowd 1001. Champagne sales at Asda in Southport up 15% ☺
Mass outbreak of chanting "Lynch is a @&#£&£" followed by a clamour for coach tickets to Gloucester (hopefully). :-)

David 1276.
Although ground is new, it's nothing special.
Train journey is a real pig, 3-5 changes each way, journey time 4 hours ish, return fare £105, or more, depending on route.
And Gloucester has the longest continuous platform in England @ 602 mtrs (1977 ft)

A big win against BPA may encourage more people to travel (hopefully).
Lack of trains is a pain, especially as Glos is my most local game but I will get there, somehow !

Could be helpful to prevent any time wasting too.
It may also sharpen the match officials minds and lead to better refereeing. Win win situation !

Re: Southport 1-0 Leamington - Match Thread

David1276. We may (and do ) disagree on quite a few things but the posts you make are always thought out and not just limited to LW out, or if we lose this must be the end for LW. Hence why I always read them carefully and try and reply respectfully (You also have a sense of humour that I like :-) )...

Re: Southport 1-0 Leamington - Match Thread

A really good performance that should put some of the Watson Out brigade back in the woodwork. What a difference being finally able to play the favoured 442 system with a close to full strength line up. Thought Watson and Walton were immense and clear to see how much we have missed Josh Hmami. Carv...

Re: Club statement (Leamington)

That would give us 2 sharpshooters and an Archer at the club, what a formidable attack force. ... A step down for MC and a lot of steps up for you. 😂

Re: Club statement (Leamington)

David 1276. Cheers for the reply. Rather than more (or better) stewards, perhaps a sharp shooter armed with a tranquilizer gun, sat atop the main stand is the answer :-) If it's good enough to bring down an elephant it would work a treat on other animals !. Checked the statement on the Club Site an...

Re: Club statement (Leamington)

Gloucester man. Totally agree with you about Leamington Fc.
Ref the reason, could well be part of the protest about the bans issued by the club. Perhaps one of the banned fans, who still posts on this site could confirm or debunk that thought.

Re: Southport 1-0 Leamington - Match Thread

The kids are enjoying being able to lean on the fence and make a noise etc. That adds to the atmosphere and today the Leamington keeper was good enough to engage with them. The stewards seem to take a good approach generally, interacting with the youngsters and managing the situation. However, it o...

Re: Southport 1-0 Leamington - Match Thread

So easy for the soft geezer. Just casually opened the gate by the home end goal and ran onto the pitch. Someone in the crowd probably knows who the idiot was. Maybe the club should put up a reward of a free hospitality pass for a game, to the first person to pass his name onto the Police & the ...

It’s very worrying.
A lot of people thought he was "a keeper" before he left :D
