Re: Fantasy Premier League

Congratulations to Jack Griffiths, Port Chat FPL champion 2020/21, who finished with a commendable 2449 points, and a full 105 points ahead of the nearest challenger Stephen Wright. May you celebrate wildly.

Re: Home shirt 2021-22 vote

Option 1 looks like a bad headache. Option 2 may be a bit plain and boring, but at least it's easy on the eye.

Can we go back to black shorts and socks please?

Re: Season declared null and void

Watch for Gloucester, Fylde and possibly York appeal this possibly to court? Alex Petheram Gloucester Co-owner made some interesting comments on Gloucestershire Live 3 days ago. He’s definitely the sort along with Eamonn McGurk to have a go this might not be over just yet? Didn't South Shields thro...

That any player would stick around here for 100 games in this day and age is quite remarkable, let alone one with Morgan's ability. I wish him well for the future.

Re: Southport v Torquay FA Trophy

I'd rather not pay for the stream and give my tenner straight to the club. I don't know how it would work out as I'm guessing we will still have some of their costs to cover, but I'd prefer not to give Torquay a penny purely out of principle. The reality is they got a far bigger grant than us, and t...

It must have been a tough decision, either going into a job he's trained for but working with a load of snotty-nosed COVID spreaders, or going in to teaching.

Re: Carry on football!

Interesting to see that Chesterfield have put some players on furlough: http://chesterfield-fc.co.uk/club-news/update-on-current-plans Surely it sets a precedent that if the season does end up continuing then clubs can just keep 14 players in the squad and furlough the rest, only to bring players ba...

Re: Halifax Town - FA Trophy

The rain over this side of the Pennines is only quite light at the moment, so there's still a fair chance of it going ahead. The ground around here is absolutely saturated though, so if the heavy rain arrives this evening I can imagine the conditions being farcical.

Should have switched venue yesterday, far more chance of it being on it at Haig Ave. None of it may matter anyway, might be s struggle just to finish the season.

Even with an artificial pitch I'm not convinced it'll go ahead. There's still 3-4 inches of lying snow, it's not got above freezing for 24 hours, and more snow is forecast overnight and tomorrow morning.

I'll be very surprised if it's on. It's been chucking it down with snow for hours over here, and is forecast to freeze overnight. The thaw is forecast for Saturday, but it's also forecast heavy rain.

I can still picture big Eric sporting them.
Eric Redrobe wore tights whilst playing? Why has this not been mentioned before when people are reminiscing about him as a player? Finding this out is like being told Santa Claus isn't real.
