Re: Peterborough Sports Predictions
Just as a matter of interest, why do teams all now kick the ball backwards from the kickoff? When the rules changed to allow this, I assumed that this would give another option but that we would still see the ball being kicked forwards. In fact I have only seen the ball go forward once since the ru...

Re: Peterborough Sports Predictions
Not sure whether anyone on Port Chat knows enough to answer this, but what sort of fanbase do Peterborough Sports have? I've always assumed if you're a football fan from Peterborough, you'd support United, but then again, a Sports fan might find that imsulting, like assuming everyone from Nottingha...

Re: Peterborough Sports Predictions
Well they certainly won’t be bringing many - only had 360 for their first game at this level, and a fair share of those would have been fans of the visitors Despite a remarkable rise from district league level in less than a decade it's difficult to see why anyone in Peterborough would choose them ...

Re: Boston predictions
Away from predictions here. Aren’t we meant to be getting a new away shirt? Boston’s home strip clashes with our home strip so I would have thought we would be in the new away shirt. Maybe an announcement coming tomorrow? Called it - and it looks fantastic. Jack Bainbridge looks quite pleased about...

Are the trust still accepting monthly membership fees? If so where is that money going? At a tenner a year i doubt anyone is paying monthly but the website is still live so it is possible to pay them via the PayPal link, hence why i asked if anyone had done so lately. Sad it just seems to have fizz...

We said this about Gloucester last year and they finished 17th so let's go for the win. Every team is a hopeful at this stage.YELLOWTAXI wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 1:42 pm Definitely take a 1-1 draw against one of the title/playoff hopefuls

Trust in Yellow no longer exists in any real sense, does it? No activity of any note for years. Last update on website over 2 years ago. I think Nic posted on here the regulatory things Trusts have to comply with and TIY weren't doing any of them. Ironically, they were great supporters of Phil's ta...

Accrington have two youthful strikers in the first team squad who didn't make the bench last match, either would make sense. Re: The state of play.
If it hasn't, where has it gone? In the bank maybe? You're assuming it's all been spent. Perhaps it hasn't. Maybe the plan was to make the few signings we have, see where we are in December then spend to strengthen if necessary. A sensibly cautious approach in the current financial climate rather t...

Re: The state of play.

It's not as if that transfer money has gone on weekly wages which will be paid from income over the coming seaso...
