Why would you hope to play the same opposition 3 times in 8 days?
We are the nutters, we come from the sea.
We must be nutters to watch SFC.

Nah we play a replay, on Tuesday 21st. Would mean playing Chorley 3 times in a week.

Correct. Replays are back from this season in all qualifying rounds and up to (and including) fourth round proper.

We will earn £3,375 should we win the tie, or £1,125 if we lose.

Was it wise to mention how much we will get if we win ?. Some will think will be able to afford a batch if new players with the massive injection of £3,375.

Could probably afford Dan Cockerline's ankle with that.

Away win, and various posts unhappy about how we still haven’t won in the league.

They won't know until they've checked with the NHS to find 7 injured players

Comfortable victory for the Port.

Cup upsets happen but we should never lose to Chorley.

Wasn't many years ago we would play chorley in pre season friendly and stick 5 or 6 past them for fun, last time I was there I walked out before half time loosing 4 ,0,I was embarrassed for the team, sad thing is,it's not that chorley have come up,it's how far Southport has fallen, tomorrow is a must win game,or thing's surely can't get much lower, up the port!!

Chorley have come a long way since those days. In the late 00’s they were three leagues below us playing the likes of Woodley Sports and Newcastle Blue Star, and were almost relegated to the NWCL.

I'm not good at predicting scores - a testament to untold Littlewoods Pools coupons of times past - but I'd like to wish any players reading this well this afternoon. I hope today is seen as a welcome distraction from some disappointing league results and kickstarts the season. Enjoy the Day!
