Cameron Antwi sub for Blackpool , know his loan period was up on the 17th, hoped it might have been extended. We appear to be in the minority of clubs in our league seemingly not bolstering the squad even with perhaps a couple of loanees .

Would be such a good idea to get some loans going of some lower league players who cant play. Kieran Glynn anyone?

Nathan Lowe also now out on loan at Darlington , South Shields lowering their wage bill, others out on loan too

I couldn't see Liam going for Lowe or Gilchrist though

Super Dion scores for Accrington again against league leaders Hull. Let’s hope he gets snapped up by a higher league team and we get some sell on cash 🙏

I'm pretty sure the Cods had a sell on agreement if SFC sold Dion Charles on,so I very much doubt we'd get anything further from Accrington IF they were to sell him- which is extremely unlikely with a promotion push for the Championship on the cards.I can't actually believe i'm using the words Accrington and Championship in the same sentence but that's were they are-and good luck to them.
Dion-the man many on here said couldn't finish...

Not 100% sure on the rules, but these players will have been furloughed, so people on furlough are allowed secondary roles without penalty.
The players will be better off, not sure about the clubs.

Presumably Fleetwood’s sell on clause was activated when we sold him to Accrington ,so any sell on clause would now be potentially be ours so we would get something for sure. He could miss from 3 yards, but he was always there, never hid and got goals out of nothing; something we haven’t got in our locker at present -maybe Connor in future who knows
but he’s still learning. Dion was a definitely a talisman whose progressing and improving all the time.

Our best business is being done away from Haig Ave as Dion scores again today for Acc. His sell on value progressing with the season.

If the season does continue I notice Zehn and Reagan now back at His home club not in line ups or subs. How about trying to loan both, decent players and will have trained full time so will be in good shape too

Dion Charles has already scored twice this evening. Surely some bigger clubs should be looking at him.

Not really news more memories

Wonderful goal by Port legend Tony Field on "The Big Match Revisited" this morning for Sheffield United. He seemed to beat half the Ipswich team before scoring. It made the last ten for the programmes goals of the season.

He popped up later on in the same programme, setting up the winner for Tony Currie at Goodison.

We had some good players in the late sixties and early seventies. :!:
