Carl Baker’s son, Louis, made his debut for Nuneaton today playing in the same side as his dad. If he is as good as his dad, Nuneaton will have some player.

There were quite a few championship clubs looking at him. Not sure it will go through with Dion on international duty.

Thanks for the reply.
If it is 25% or anywhere near it should make quite a difference to our promotion chances. If we can add a good cup run it should enable us to compete with the teams with much larger budgets. Only then will the Watson out brigade have fair reason to call for his departure.

Other than a couple of grand here and there, I would expect the majority of it to stay in the bank and make little difference to any promotion bid.

We shall see in the fullness of time.
I personally believe we have a squad that will be in or around the play off places and with the addition of a couple of players, who knows.
Having some cash in the bank isn't such a bad thing, far better that than going on a spending spree for the wrong players, or endangering the clubs future by blowing the lot.

Doesn't look like Dion is going anywhere.
Only 1 hour to go til the transfer door closes but just looked on twitter and nothing but Forest and Bristol City fans pleading for their clubs to sign him!

Hopefully he'll bang in some more goals from now till xmas and command a better fee. I suspect the proceedings will cover the losses we have made, the rest will be contingency money. Wouldn't it be nice if we used some of it ( alongside football grants & supporter donations ) to cover one part of the ground?

I hope Dion does for Accy's sake...They risk having an unhappy player on their books now. If he has an ounce of common, he'll know that at his age he has to move soon to get his "big money move".

Everyone relax...Dion's time will come.
