Do you think we will get any money from Accrington, a blow if we don't....
There is a sell-on clause.
Ok thanks Ste does that apply if he walks away at the end of his contract?
A sell-on clause would only apply if they sold him!

So we don't know what we got for him & if he walks away out of contract Southport FC get naff all....not quite what we were told when he left the club, I think Accrington got the best of the deal....Agents eh can't trust 'em can you..

As it’s been reported that Championship clubs are looking at him, I can’t Accrington allowing him to just walk.

If he walked without commandng a fee Accy get the worst deal having paid us for him. It is very logical to assume Accy will want to avoid that situation ergo we get an additional bonus fee.

Were you expecting a deal that contravenes the Bosman ruling that's been in place for the last quarter of a century?

What were you told, and by who?

You can count on one hand the number of players we've sold for more than we got for Dion. Should he move for the suggested £1m then the total fee we get will be the biggest ever received in the history of the club.

Which part of this are you unhappy about?

His contract is up this summer, with an extra year at Accrington’s discretion. Likely, that will be activated and in turn will move for a fee this summer. With a ‘significant sell on clause’ in his contract that Southport would receive. Lots of interest, so that should drive the fee up!

I could be wrong but I believe we’d also owe a portion of the fee we receive to Fleetwood.

Just switched on to Sky Sports Portsmouth v Accy. Both Dion and David Morgan start. Good to see two Former Port players in League 1.

The match kicked off at 12 noon and there doesn't seem to be a repeat. Dion Charles is no. 32. David Morgan is no. 37

I believe James Dean was a regular opponent and also an ex-target of ours.

Sadly his body has been found today after going missing.

Jason Gilchrist is to leave South Shields when his contract ends in June. He wants to return to the North West. Worth another look?

Nothing mentioned there, but not to say we wont. But shrewd move on their part too.

Kevin Davies with potentially our most profitable signing?

Liam Watson wasn't a fan. Therefore, it won't happen.
