Accrington have two youthful strikers in the first team squad who didn't make the bench last match, either would make sense.
Good to get someone through the door and I hope he makes an impact.
It has to be said, this level will still be a massive step up as he's only played North West Counties level as far as I can tell, so despite him coming from a L1 club we need to bear that in mind.
That is now 15 outfield + Tony Mac so at least we can fill a bench! Most other teams would still be looking to add three or four but we know that's not the case, so if we can get another one or two preferably before Saturday great, if we have to scrape through with 16 for one game and then add before the first home game then we will live.
Accrington must have a massive squad and hopefully a good scouting system.Good for the lad to experience a higher level [us] than he has been playing at. A months loan seems a stop gap for us to increase the squad Carberry and Hmami slotted straight in from a slightly lower level and IBR of course hope if he gets a game he can too .Did he play for Daisy Hill against us and if so did he impress ? Anyway welcome Enock and if you get on you wont lack support from the fans thats for sure . Just hope theres more news on transfers-loans by the end of the day.
I don't seem to remember him against us for Daisy Hill, but they didn't look like pushovers going forward so if he was in the team he didn't embarrass himself. So long as he hasn't got the attitude of their goalkeeping coach then we'll be alright with him
Edit: It appears he wasn't in the squad that day according to Daisy Hill's twitter, so he was probably either injured or at Darwen.
Edit 2: For Darwen, he was a squad player and there's no evidence of him actually starting a game that I can find on Twitter, though I haven't trawled their website so happy to be proved wrong. Same for Daisy Hill. I hope we and Accrington saw something in him that they didn't!

He doesn’t sound like starting line-up material in a difficult game like this but, as you say, they must see something in him.
It hardly suggests thorough preparation for the Boston game (did Enock attend Thursday training?) but ‘it is what it is’ I suppose.

Good luck to the lad but totally inadequate, another pathetic cap in hand
to Coleman and yet another masterclass in how to remain insignificant.

I’m sure Liam will leave out the word ‘totally’ from his instructions to Enock in his team talk though! There’s pessimism and there’s deep pessimism. Never change, Portchat!

Have you ever thought that Southport FC might not be for you?
I mean if he was totally talentless Accrington wouldn't have signed him in the first place. It's only a 1 month loan and he may well surprise us. I for one hope he succeeds, it's not like we'll be paying them any weekly wages anyway I shouldn't imagine, just another body to have on the bench if he's required, until Tommy Lawson comes back with some random ex-Skem striker who scored 455 goals in all comps last season in the NPL Div 1 or something.

LW has said that he doesn’t sign loan players unless he intends to use them
We did sign those 2 Accrington youth players near the end of the season before last (I forget their names) and neither of them played at all I don't think, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same sort of transfer.

Jesus wept, can we not at least get to half time in the first league match before the doom and gloom merchants write the season off?

Expectations are low the Club is on the bones of its ass, so no pressure on the team really, they will continue to sweat buckets of blood & cover every inch of our beautiful pitch......on that basis why not break the shackles of our horrible footballing style and play to feet play Watson & Woods out wide & dictate play a bit more instead of lumping up field & seeing the ball come back twice as quick, try a short throw every once in a while, let Cam throw the ball to one of our players rather than kick after kick to no one, put corners onto the penalty spot & attack the ball rather than concede free kick after free kick by charging the keeper try a different routine from the kick off, shoot more you never know one might go in every so often, a few ideas there...but wait nothing is likely to change here with the present coaching set up, I would love to know if our players enjoy playing the way we do I'm thinking they dont....something needs to change on the pitch as it is boring....but we must have the best pitch in the League...
After todays showing I rest my case.....nothing changes ......
