It will be interesting to see what follows at HA.

Interesting - Liam doesn't do much of the coaching. I suspect we will bring someone in on the cheap.

I think this would be sensible considering the apparent lack of budget
Alan McDonald was more versatile than a Swiss Army knife.

I wish John well - he has worked hard. However, could this be an opportunity to bring in a young hungry coach looking for a chance and with some tactical nouse to work 'under' Liam, but with a plan B?

Maybe there was nothing the club could have done about it,but the timing of this announcement seems very poor.

Could Jon McCarthy not have stayed in charge of coaching for this game this afternoon and then said his goodbye's?

Whatever,Liam needs somebody in pretty quickly.
I'd be contacting Lee Ashcroft at Longridge Town and seeing if I could tempt him away.

Yes, that occurred to me, too. I'm not sure that DW still has it to play at this level.

I was hoping that there might be an FL player, maybe a creative midfielder, coming to the end of his career, that might be thinking of moving into coaching.

No one with ambition and tactical nouse would
tolerate working under Mr Watson for long.

Only Liam, Subs, Physio wondered though if Tony Mc will fulfil the role ? He’s got lots of experience, knows the club, knows the score as well. Don’t know about coaching licence or whatever is needed mind you .

Be very interesting to see who comes in. An opportunity to freshen things up a little but no natural successor so will be telling in the direction of travel for the club with the Calibre of appointment. Fingers crossed.
