Total of 4 goals given up over the last 8 league games by a former bottom-placed club is encouraging.

Clean sheets are the key. Liam Edwards has been outstanding in defence as have all our defenders in a much changed back four. Well all the lads. Great result. Keep the run going. Come on the Porrrt.

Superb result - what an amazing job Liam and Terry have done to turn this season round. The club is a happy place to be now, in a way that it probably hasn't been since 2012.

Wish I'd made it over tonight but sadly not to be - excellent commentary from Guiseley.

Decent commentary, just a shame about the buffering.

Into the play-off spots and hardly out of place. Narrow defeats away to the top two, wins vs 3rd and 5th, and draws with 4th and 6th.

Another win and another three points. The team are doing us all proud, long may it continue and congratulations to the boys plus thanks for our management.

Don't forget the teams we just couldn't beat at the start of the season we have to play again, and things will be different, never mind the play off, reach for the top

Well done to all. Sound and efficient away performance, superior fitness and finesse won the day. Their goalkeeper got MOM , despite looking very dodgy early on and spilling the ball for our first goal. Defence excellent again and the unbeaten run rolls on , happy days , the team is a breath of fresh air compared to previous seasons’ servings 👌

First league match I have missed this season so no verse and chapter from me, but it sounded the very definition of a routine win. Southport and routine wins, who'd have thought they would go together. Well done all.

Great effort once again. Very fair commentary recognised that we were the better team. Can't have been easy on a Tuesday night in December in avery chilly Yorkshire especially after Saturday's hard fought win!

Onwards and upwards to Blyth!!!

13 points behind Fylde with a game in hand, and they have to come to Haig Ave.
Great win tonight, am grateful Liam Edwards has been able to step in, three clean sheets on the spin is just what you're after.
Marcus back at it and four in the league for Josh along with Connor, again ideal.
Hasn't been like this at this level since 09/10, wonderful stuff from the players and management.
Ian Kyle must be really happy, I know I am.
