England International Stan Mortensen during the war scored dozens of goals before making a strange piece of history by switching teams to play for Wales when they needed a reserve during a game against England on 25 September 1943. Wales' Ivor Powell was injured and had to leave the field and, as England's reserve, Mortensen took his place in the Welsh side.
Bill Perry, though born in South Africa, was capped by England.

Kurtis Guthrie was capped by Jersey . He subsequently played for England C and scored against Ukraine.
In the words of Tomkins, "The ethos of Clapham became the spirit of the age."

Brian Reeves, Toto, and no doubt lots of others.

There are lots who played for us after their international careers, but very few who went on to play internationally after leaving Port.

Then there are the ‘C’ internationals, Billy Stewart, Tim Ryan, Carl Baker, etc

I’m not sure about Martin McDonald.

Jamie Allen is a Monserrat international.

I seem to remember Ian Nolan's last game before playing for us was for Northern Ireland against Italy or Spain or someone.

Vinnie Mukendi was capped at the U19 level, but did not play through injury,by the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Later in the same year he received a yellow card for celebrating after scoring the equalizer in our 1-1 home draw with York,

As I said plenty - Mo Ali played for Somalia. There was a lad in the late 80's who was an international in one of the Caribbean countries.

Cam Mason has also been capped for England 'C' and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts has been capped by England at up to u-20 level. Not sure if they count but there's a few current players who have represented their country internationally :)

I believe Dylan Vassallo is eligible for Malta and it is not beyond the realms of possibility he gets called up, I remember Sam Magri used to represent them when he was at Ebbsfleet in the National League.

Nobody has yet mentioned the most prolific Port international...

Rodney Jack netted 23 goals in 45 games for St Vincent and the Grenadines.

It was Spain and they lost 5-0. He went from man marking Raul one game, to scoring on his debut for us in his next.

Jonny Gorman is another ex player who played for Northern Ireland.

See Lee Trundle was on Football Focus today, still playing at 45 for Ammanford AFC in the Welsh Division Two.
Looks the slimmest I've seen him

…and picking up a great salary for that level. Ammanford also had Leon Britton playing for them earlier in the season.
Alan McDonald was more versatile than a Swiss Army knife.
