Not sure he'd have been expected to be going straight into a first team squad 4 divisions above where he's been playing. I'm sure Liam said as much when the deal was done.
If he doesn't make the first team squad Blackpool are entering a reserve team squad in the Central League next season.

For his own ambition and it doesn’t work out with Appleton, then he’ll be wanting a loan move to League 1/2. He’s a good player with a good head.
