Marcus Carver scored two in Hartlepool's 6-0 away friendly win at Billingham Synthonia

This would have been remarkable in 1950-51 when Synthonia were Northern League runner-upYELLOWTAXI wrote: ↑Sat Jul 09, 2022 4:52 pm Marcus Carver scored two in Hartlepool's 6-0 away friendly win at Billingham Synthonia
Went through whole season without conceding a League goal at home.
Hope Marcus has a truly productive season.

Great to hear that Doug Tharme was highlighted in Blackpool's 1.0 win at Salford City last night..
Appleton needs to realise that he's inherited a great prospect in Doug..

Though they've just taken Rhys Williams on loan from Liverpool, so Williams is bound to be first choice centre half. Hopefully Doug will get the nod alongside himyellowfever wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 10:08 am Great to hear that Doug Tharme was highlighted in Blackpool's 1.0 win at Salford City last night..

See George scored two goals on Tuesday night as a trialist in Bala's 3-0 friendly win over Denbigh, that probably convinced them to snap him up quickly!

If he can stay fit, he'll score a lot of goals in that league.
