Out of contract this Summer: Russell Benjamin, Isaac Buckley-Ricketts & George Newell (Not sure of anyone else) - Will they be retained?

Interesting if they are, and will give an indication of Liam’s targets going forward if they are released.

I’d suspect GN and perhaps RB will be given pre-season to prove their fitness, if they want to.

I’d be surprised if IBR is kept on.

I think he may have one more season before retiring - expect him to join a NPL W team paying decent money

I think Niall will retire.

He’s 35, and second half of this past season, he was only playing every other game. I think his time on the pitch was being carefully managed.

He’s been a fabulous player and inspirational captain for us.

Tbf anything is a pay rise compared to what he’s earning right now.

We’ve got 15 players I think that’s including tony mc and not including Benjamin newell and IBR. Interested to see how many Liam goes into the season with 19/20? So I would say at least 4 additions to this squad.

Jem Karacan, ex Reading, Galatasaray and Bolton midfielder has joined Radcliffe. Last season he played 24 games with Scunthorpe. I’m not being funny but someone like that is the exact type of player we need - neat and tidy on the ball with a load of experience.

We don't seem to do "neat and tidy" though. It's all Route 1.

Ben Tollitt is still a free agent after getting released from Fylde - He scored 9 goals for Fylde last season before getting released this summer.

He is from the Liverpool area. Only issue is he obvs was playing for a full-time club so will be maybe expecting a full-time wage. Suprised we've not at least given him a trial as a free agent.

Pretty sure Tollitt was on trial at Hartlepool a few weeks ago and think he is now on trial at Oldham so unlikely he would join us

Accrington have signed centre forward Alhagi Touray Sisay from Welsh Premier League side, Haverfordwest. I saw Alhagi a few times last season and he has a little feature on Haverfordwest’s “all or nothing” style documentary. A physical presence, I can’t see him starting the season at Accrington. He’d be a great acquisition on loan for us. Scores goals and is a threat. He’s not great at linking play but he won’t have to worry about that for us because we don’t move the ball around, haha. Interesting piece of business by John Coleman and one we should keep an eye on.
