Re: Boston predictions
I think we'll go for a point, and get one. Expect a back 5, defensive football and to concede a lot of shots on target.

Re: Boston predictions
Away from predictions here. Aren’t we meant to be getting a new away shirt? Boston’s home strip clashes with our home strip so I would have thought we would be in the new away shirt. Maybe an announcement coming tomorrow?
Re: Boston predictions
There was a recent report that showed that very few of the 92 FL clubs had both of their kits available due to problems and delays with manufacturing and/or distribution. Those same problems are likely to be facing us.

Re: Boston predictions
I was also confused about the home shirt as they are on sale as 'home shirt 21/22' for a bargain £25 on the website when they are usually around £40. The only size is 3XL.PortDan1121 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 6:17 pm Away from predictions here. Aren’t we meant to be getting a new away shirt? If we were getting another season out of them, why the knock down price and lack of stock?
I only hope when this is sorted the shirts have names on otherwise there will be a real Port Chat meltdown

I wonder if the new loan signing Lusiama from Stanley will get a start.

We said this about Gloucester last year and they finished 17th so let's go for the win. Every team is a hopeful at this stage.YELLOWTAXI wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 1:42 pm Definitely take a 1-1 draw against one of the title/playoff hopefuls

Re: Boston predictions
Who else was at our 1st home game in NLN after relegation, enjoying a 4-0 win against Boston in the sunshine? This lower tier didn't look that good, we had a decent side, should be good chance of going straight back up. Ha.
0-2 half time
2-2 full time, Boston to equalise in added time
1100 crowd, 56 away fans, Inc me.

Presumably they couldn't decide on whether to have stripes or not?

Re: Boston predictions
You’ll be delighted to know Jordan Burrow is injured.
Anything can happen. Teams often suffer a hangover from losing in the play-off final. Also, we’ve never lost at Boston’s new stadium. Conversely last time we started our league season on 6th August, we went on to be relegated. Statistics, don’t you just love ‘em.
